About Me

I am married and the mother of 4 boys. In 1991 I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development from Purdue University in W. Lafayette, IN. I am a secretary at Lake Central High School and I enjoy taking pictures and writing poems. Currently I am a member of Write-On Hoosiers, Prairie Writers Guild, SCBWI, and Calumet Region Photo Club. Nine years ago I co-founded Magic Hour Writers with classmates Judy Whitcomb and Luneil Morrow.

My poems and pictures can be found in several local publications. My photos have been on exhibit at the Indianapolis International Airport, the Indiana Welcome Center, and are even on a few magazine covers and two books. I had a poem published in Highlights High Five in April 2018 and won a photo contest sponsored by Cowboy and Indians Magazine in 2017.
